The Doll Domination Tour (also known as the World Domination Tour) is the second concert tour by American girl group Pussycat Dolls to support their second studio album Doll Domination. The tour reached Europe, Asia and Oceania. The group toured North America as the opening act for Britney Spears' 2009 tour.
Background
On July 31, 2008, while promoting the album in Asia, the group announced that a tour in support of the album would begin in early 2009, visiting the Europe, Asia, Australia and South America. Dates were announced following the album's release.
It was later confirmed on E! News at the opening of the new Pussycat Doll Lounge by Robin Antin, the group's founder, that the tour would begin in Europe in late January 2009, and then visit Asia and Australia in April 2009, before finishing up in the U.S. at the end of the Summer. This has slightly changed since her comments. Robin also confirmed that it would be a co-headlined tour with another major act, similar to the groups 2005 tour with the Black Eyed Peas, 2006 tour with Rihanna and 2007 they opened the Back to Basics Tour with Christina Aguilera. This will be Britney Spears on her 2009 American leg of her The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour.
On August 28, 2008 Ne-Yo confirmed on UK radio station 95.8 Capital FM that he would be touring with the group throughout 2009 in support of his latest album Year of the Gentleman. He said that the tour was going to be called "Dolls & Gentlemen: An Evening with Ne-Yo and the Pussycat Dolls", but that this wasn't confirmed and in the end proved untrue. He also went on to explain that the show would feature sets from both acts, but that they 'would share the stage at some points too'. Tickets went on sale after both acts release their albums. He stated the tour would kick off in January and that it would visit London, Paris, Amsterdam and other European cities.
The tour began on the 18 January 2009 in Aberdeen, Scotland. In March 3, they toured in The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour. as an opening act for Britney Spears. At the end of the North American leg the proceeded to Oceania, Asia, North America and re-visited some European cities. The tour officially ended at Beirut in July 13. Two dates were canceled due the hiatus of the Pussycat Dolls.

Concert Synopsis
It begins with a video showing the Pussycat Dolls riding on motorcycles and passing through countries indicating them dominating the world. After the video they appear at the stage on motorcycles and begin performing "Takin' Over The World". After they perform "Beep" accompanied with male dancers. During the second post chorus Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt share vocals. They continue to perform "I Don't Need A Man" with a new remix, "Elevator", and "I Hate This Part". Then they leave for a costume change.

They appear on stage with dance poles and perform "Buttons" . After their performance they introduce themselves individually and later perform "Wait A Minute". During "Love The Way You Love Me" Scherzinger stays while the male dancers and the rest of the Dolls leave the stage. She talks and entertains to the crowd. She later introduces the four girls for their solo songs.
Melody Thornton goes first. She sings "Space" wearing a white jumpsuit. She starts with an a cappella singing the first verse and then continues the song with 2 dancers. Later Ashley Roberts sings her own solo "Played". In the the song there is a new piece of music which is used as a dance interlude, dancing along with the male dancers. As she finishes she introduces to the next Doll which is Kimberly singing "Don't Wanna Fall In Love". During the song she dances' with dancers and does the her signature move the leg lift. Later Jessica comes on stage carried by male dancers singing "If I Was A Man" wearing a silver bodysuit with black stripes and black trousers with vertical silver stripes. Right before the end, the dancers remove her trousers revealing her bodysuit. She exits the stage and later Nicole comes on stage singing "Hush Hush; Hush Hush" while wearing a gold dress.
Next there is a video interlude of Nicole Scherzinger telling the Pussycat Dolls' history and introducing the rest of the girls to a burlesque dance. Roberts, Sutta, and Wyatt come on stage in doll boxes and the male dancers at the stairs wearing sailor outfits. As the song proceeds Melody Thornton enters the stage singing "Hey Big Spender". Later on Nicole Scherzinger joins the girls on stage and perform "Whatcha Think About That". After the Old-School section the male dancers do a dance interlude to the song "Whatchamcalit".
After the costume change, they continue to perform "Magic" and "Bottle Pop". At the end of "Bottle Pop" Nicole leaves with the male dancers and the rest of the girls stay to have the Bottle Pop contest. 4 pre-selected fans come on stage and dance to Bottle Pop. As the girls go backstage, Nicole returns with a solo, singing "Halo" with back-up dancers and after the rest of the girls join her to the song "Stickwitu"
As the Encore, they perform two of their greatest hits "Don't Cha" and "When I Grow Up". At the end of the show they all bow down to the audience and exit the stage
Additional Notes
* From January 18, 2009 the black outfits worn in the beginning of the show, was replaced by graffiti top style and check shorts/skirts. During the first costume change, they added only corsets.
* "Love The Way You Love Me" was performed only in the first show in Aberdeen. They later canceled it and made it an interlude for Nicole introducing the girls for their solo parts.
* On 28 January, 2009 at London, England during the Bottle Pop Contest Robin Antin was a guest.
* On March 11, 2009 "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" was added to the set list and they also re-arranged some of the songs.
* On March 23, 2009 The Pussycat Dolls did not perform due to Nicole being sick.
* On May 5, 2009 Girlicious performed instead of The Pussycat Dolls. Their final official show of this tour was May 3, 2009.
* On May 22, 2009 in Sydney Jessica Sutta broke her rib during the performance in Hush Hush; Hush Hush. She performed once more in the second show in Melbourne, but fractured her rib completely.
* During the show in Seoul, South Korea Melody Thornton injured her knee. She was only able to perform at few numbers with the Dolls, they re-scheduled the Taiwan show for 25 September, but then later cancelled it.

At the end of "Bottle Pop" Nicole leaves with the male dancers and the rest of the girls stay to have the Bottle Pop contest. 4 pre-selected fans come on stage and dance to Bottle Pop. As the girls go backstage, Nicole returns with a solo, singing "Halo" with back-up dancers and after the rest of the girls join her to the song "Stickwitu"
As the Encore, they perform two of their greatest hits "Don't Cha" and "When I Grow Up". At the end of the show they all bow down to the audience and exit the stage
Additional Notes
* From January 18, 2009 the black outfits worn in the beginning of the show, was replaced by graffiti top style and check shorts/skirts. During the first costume change, they added only corsets.
* "Love The Way You Love Me" was performed only in the first show in Aberdeen. They later canceled it and made it an interlude for Nicole introducing the girls for their solo parts.
* On 28 January, 2009 at London, England during the Bottle Pop Contest Robin Antin was a guest.
* On March 11, 2009 "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" was added to the set list and they also re-arranged some of the songs.
* On March 23, 2009 The Pussycat Dolls did not perform due to Nicole being sick.
* On May 5, 2009 Girlicious performed instead of The Pussycat Dolls. Their final official show of this tour was May 3, 2009.
* On May 22, 2009 in Sydney Jessica Sutta broke her rib during the performance in Hush Hush; Hush Hush. She performed once more in the second show in Melbourne, but fractured her rib completely.
* During the show in Seoul, South Korea Melody Thornton injured her knee. She was only able to perform at few numbers with the Dolls, they re-scheduled the Taiwan show for 25 September, but then later cancelled it.
