Kaya Jones

Kaya Jones, August 28, 1984, Toronto, Canada a Canadian-American dual citizen is a singer, dancer and model. She was a member of the girl group Pussycat Dolls from 2003-2004. Jones left the group after recording two songs for the PCD album, to pursue modeling, and a solo musical career.

Biography
As a teenager, Kaya was signed to a development deal by R. Kelly in 1999, quickly signing as a punk rock artist to Capital Records in 2001. In 2003, Kaya attended an open audition to join the new Pussycat Dolls line-up; her try out was successful, joining at the same time as Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton. Her vocals appear on the Pussycat Dolls recordings "We Went as Far as We Felt Like Going" and "Sway" on the album PCD, and she appears in the "Sway" music video.
2004 saw Kaya appear in the music video "How Come" by D12 and Eminem and she sang back up vocals for Mick Jagger on the Golden Globe winning song "Old Habits Die Hard" from the movie Aflie. Kaya contributed two songs to the 2009 movie American Pie Presents: Book of Love. As a supporter of the troops, in early 2010 she did a 2-week USO tour in Iraq.
In collaboration with Regi, the top DJ in Belgium, Kaya has been touring behind the recent success of their single, “Take It Off”. The album has reached GOLD and is currently on the UK Dance Charts at #8. Kaya performed at the 2011 White Party presented by Jeffery Sanker. She performed once as a guest of the world famous ChiChi LaRue at the main event and also at the official pool party the following day. Kaya recorded the single "Waiting For Saturday" set for release in Europe in mid 2011. The video was filmed both in Milan, Italy during fashion week and Lugano, Switzerland. Kaya wore designs from John Richmond in the video and attended front row as a guest of the designer at the 2011 women's runway show.
A seasoned entertainer, Kaya has performed at events such as, VH1’s Diva’s Live, VH1’s Fashion Rocks and MTV’s Rock the Vote, among many others. Showcasing her stunning good looks, Kaya Jones has appeared on the covers a myriad of publications and fashion magazines including: Esquire, Interview, Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Blender, Guitar and Us Weekly.
Born in Toronto, Canada, Kaya currently resides in Los Angeles.
