Mother's day celebration in Memphis, Tennessee

Mother's Day is just around the corner so three leading Latino parenting bloggers PapiBlogger, Mamá Contemporánea and Momma Findings, have joined forces to help you find the best gifts this season with the launch of their 2011 Mother's Day Guide.
The guide features gifts for mom in a variety of categories and price ranges and even includes Apps to help moms make their lives easier.

The 2011 guide, the first of what is to become an annual tradition, was compiled over several months with the input of other Latino mamis and papis and is available free. The English version can be downloaded at: http://www.slideshare.net/papiblogger/2011-mothers-day-gift-guide.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis is on the move this Mother's Day weekend with festivals, concerts under the stars and outdoor sporting events. Here's a preview of some of the events taking place this weekend:

The Greek Festival kicked Friday at 11:00a.m. and and continues until 10:00 p.m. During the family festival you can enjoy authentic homemade Greek dishes, Greek music, and learn a little about the heritage and culture. You can read more about the Greek Festival by logging onto MemphisGreekFestival.com.

CORPUS CHRISTI — With Mother's Day this weekend, flowers, a sentimental card and maybe springing for a nice dinner are all great ways to express how much you appreciate all mom has done for you.

This year, why not put a unique spin on her gift by adding some fitting music. And whether you download these selections onto her iPod or burn them onto a CD, mom is sure to enjoy some of these selections that uniquely celebrate motherhood.
